Yesterday afternoon, after spending too little time at the Garden of 1000 Buddhas, we take in the Arlee Fourth of July Rodeo with family. The rodeo is in its 30th year, and the bleachers show every year being faded gray and the planks slightly rotten in places. Most of the cowboys were local, which made the scene even more enjoyable. The last event, the Chicken Scramble, saw my nephew running around for 10 minutes and, alas, no chicken.

Stock-saddle Bronc

Beautiful horse in golden sunlight

Hard landing ahead

Shouldn’t he “on” the horse?

Skyward bound

The riding was difficult

Another rider coming out of the chutes

Cowboy giving a big effort

Rippling muscles of a rough stock

Hand up, chin down

Spinning close to the chutes

Wonder what he’s thinking right now?

A ton of beast in the air

Zander chasing chickens

Future cowboy or wide receiver?
Love the shots. Would you happen to have any additional photos with the bullfighter in yellow? How do I go about ordering prints from you. Thank you and keep up the great work.
