Radd, I saw you are co-leading a trip to Montana next June. I can’t make that trip, but reading about it got me interested and I’ve decided to hit Glacier (mainly) and some of the rest of Montana on my own next summer for birds, butterflies, scenery and nature photos in general. I tried to order your book Birds in Place from Amazon, but I was advised today they can’t get it. Can you help?

I came of with a list of about 10 birds that would be lifers for me. Would you be willing to give me advice where to go for them? I’ll be 66 and, unless I get my knee fixed, I can’t walk much more than a mile one way. I will pay for your help, of course. A difficult but findable bird might find me wanting a guide for a day if you were available.

Are you able to help me with either issue?
